The Green IT Achievement Program recognizes U-M units that follow green computing best practices, from implementing power settings to using recycled paper.
Green IT Achievement is awarded on three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
By rewarding units that make a commitment to green computing, the Green IT Achievement Program helps to ensure a sustainable change in behavior.
Anyone can represent their department and apply for Green IT Achievement.
Once we verify that your department is following green IT practices, it will be awarded one of the three levels of Green IT Achievement. Units are encouraged to continually improve green efforts to increase their level.
